On the north shore of the Lake lies the stately Hyatt Regency. In recent years, many guests have
reported seeing an old man who would sit in evenings in the lobby by the fireplace, but would suddenly disappear into thin air.No one knows who the grey haired, be speckled dignified old man may be, but he is such a fixture here, that the staff laugh about it when asked.
"Everyone has seen him, and he doesn't bother us, so we don't bother him"
BODY AT THE BEACH
Some guests of the resort have reported seeing a pale white woman floating lifelessly in the water off of the Resorts Private Beach.
When life guards arrive, no body is ever found. One Sacramento Based Pschic, beleives the woman may be the spirit of Angie Plower, a Tahoe Area Socialite who fell off a steamship in the 1920's in the area.
