One of Tahoe's most famous Haunts is of The King himself, Elvis Presley who performed many times at South Lake Tahoe's Horizon Casino.Elvis's voice has been heard in the hallways on the 7th floor and penthouse level as well as apparitions of his silhouette seen backstage at the main state.
So many staff at the Hotel have seen Elvis that no one feels uncomfortable or threatened by this obviously benevolent residual spirit.
